Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services, earning remarkable recognition at the esteemed GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Awards (GHAPAC) 2023.
Outshining the competition, Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC), a prominent healthcare provider in Malaysia and a flagship hospital of RSDH, proudly won six awards including the distinguished title of Stand-out Jury Hospital of the Year in Asia Pacific.
The hospital has been a pioneer in private healthcare for 38 years, offering cutting-edge medical facilities and focusing on patient safety and clinical excellence notably in oncology.
SJMC also won an additional five awards, including the Multi-Disciplinary Oncology Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific for the fifth consecutive year, the Paediatric Oncology Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific and Advanced Genetics Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific awards for the second and third consecutive years respectively.
This year, SJMC made its mark for the first time as the Interventional Radiology Provider of the Year and the Digestive Health Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific.

SJMC’s Cancer & Radiosurgery Centre have earned a place as a leader in various cancer treatments, including solid and liquid cancers.
It is one of the first hospitals in Malaysia to embark on routine measurement of the performance of its cancer care services with the results compared to leading cancer centres globally.
The evidence-based treatment is evident in their strength in clinical outcomes such as the high 5-year survival rates for breast cancer and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), supported by published research papers.
The hospital continues to be a leader in oncology by pioneering advancements in imaging technology such as the integration of positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT) scanners in nuclear medicine.
This is further strengthened with state-of-the-art installations such as the next generation of Tomotherapy and NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing). Additionally, their breakthroughs in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) have revolutionised thousands of oncology cases.

As a family-friendly hospital, ParkCity Medical Centre (PMC) is again honoured for the second time for its exceptional paediatric services with the Child Development and Paediatrics Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific award.
